PINE-963 is a multi-component phytotherapeutic formulation designed to mimic the telomerase-activating and longevity-enhancing effects of the synthetic peptide Epitalon (Epithalon). Epitalon is a pineal tetrapeptide shown to upregulate telomerase, elongate telomeres, and extend cellular lifespan beyond the Hayflick limit. To replicate these geroprotective mechanisms, PINE-963 combines Astragalus membranaceus (cycloastragenol-rich extract), Rhodiola rosea, Withania somnifera (ashwagandha), Bacopa monnieri, Curcuma longa (curcumin), Ginkgo biloba, Resveratrol, and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) from green tea. Each ingredient is supported by evidence for telomerase activation, telomere maintenance, or anti-aging effects, with a focus on mitigating aging-related neurodegeneration and immune decline.
